The Big Bash League, BBL or KFC Big Bash League for sponsorship reasons, is an Australian Twenty20 cricket league and this was formed in 2011.
BBL have 2 Melbourne derbies & 2 Sydney derbies matches in a single season. In the beginning of the year of the tournament the group stage matches were played in eight rounds, with four matches played in each of the round.
#1 Hobart Hurricanes Vs Melbourne Renegades 223/8 ; 2016–17
Hobart Hurricanes won by 8 wickets for 223 runs best batting by McDermott 114 and Bailey 59, bowler Narine 3-27.
Hobart Hurricanes was in need to win to stay in BBL6 and scored the highest in BBL history, beaten Melbourne Renegades.
Very interesting drama happened on the Last ball, Dan Christian bang a four and a six but lost to Narine bowling after McDermott. In the next ball, Jono Wells was also bowled. It was fantastic show created y Narine. It was moment of feeling of coming out of own skin, In other two overs Beau Webster’s 20-run stand of which he scored zero with Bailey was ended. Then after two balls the senior man was also bagged by Narine. On the first ball of final over, Narine took Cameron Boyce run out and till end he congruously provided crazy ending.
#2 Melbourne Renegades Vs Hobart Hurricanes 4/222 (20.0 overs) 2016–17
That was an amazing night at Docklands stadium, records were written, rewritten and broken that was an awesome record made in history. This history was made just in 3 hours, some manic hitting and balls were disappeared into the sands, which was not witnessed in T20.
Renegades scored the highest total in BBL history and next were first century of the season.
In just span of 40 overs, team scored 445 runs, one century, 3 half century, 36 fours and 22 sixes. Such a fantastic hitting which was never seen and it did not see who was bowler, balls just disappeared into the sand and sky.
Hurricanes won by 2 wickets.
#3 Hobart Hurricanes Vs Brisbane Heat 7/210 (19.2 overs) 2013–14
An outstanding match between Hobart Hurricanes and Brisbane Heat in 2013-14 was won by Hobart Hurricanes at 7 wickets for 210.
Three remarkable innings that too from 3 unlikely sources to secured the winner position, in particularly Ben Dunk who has once again made record for the fastest ever BBL fifty in just 20 balls with a previous record of scoring more than 50 in just 17 balls for T20 appearances.
#4 Melbourne Renegades Vs Brisbane Heat 3/210 (20.0 overs) 2013–14
Ranks 5th, In the year 2013-14, a gruesome match was between Melbourne Renegades and Brisbane Heat.
Renegades won the match by 57-runs. A continuous hitting from Aaron Finch, Jos Buttler and Ben Rohrer for 81(51), 61(36) and 36(11) respectively helped the Melbourne Renegades win a match to a 57-run over the Brisbane Heat.
Best bowler performance was shown by DT Christian for 4 overs, 43 runs bagging 2 wickets at Economic rate of 10.75 and second in list was DL Vettori for 4 overs, 20 runs bagging 1 wickets at Economic rate of 5.00.
#5 Hobart Hurricanes Vs Perth Scorchers 4/210 (20.0 overs) 2017–18
In the year 2017-18, high rated match between Hobart Hurricanes Vs Perth Scorchers was dramatic and spectacular match.
Scorchers lost the match after Hurricanes scores up 210, In spite the Hurricanes losing their last three matches and losing their leading D’Arcy scorer very Short to international duty and dropped Tymal Mills, but they somehow managed to win over the defending champions.
The best performance batsman MS Wade who made 71 runs in 45 balls, with ten 4’s and one 6’s and among which there were 25 runs considered as productive shots & runs i.e.. For three 4’s and one 6’s.
Second best Performed by BR Mc Dermott scoring 67(30) with four 4’s and six 6’s. Productive shot off drive 17 runs with two 4’s & one 6’s.
Best bowler performance was shown by DT Christian for 3.5 overs, 17 runs with 4 wickets at Economic rate of 4.43.
Second best bowler in the match was TS Rogers for 4 overs, 3 1 runs with 3 wickets at Economic rate of 7.75
#6 Adelaide Strikers Vs Hobart Hurricanes 202-2; 2017-18
Adelaide Strikers 202-2: Weatherald 115, Head 44 not out.
J Weatherald has shown best performance by scoring 115 runs out of70 balls at 9 4’s and 8 6’s with the Productive Shot of 48 runs bagging 2 4’s and 6 6’s.
DJM Short also showed a good performance with 68 runs in 44 balls hitting 6 4’s and 4 6’s maintaining a Productive Shot of 22 runs with 1 4’s and 3 6’s.
Hurricanes have shown their worst bowling of the tournament and at a worse time in the final. There was many changes in pace of bowling which gave many short runs also too many fuller balls. Hobart Hurricanes were at 177-5: Short 68, Bailey 46, and Siddle 3-17

#7 Hobart Hurricanes Vs Adelaide Strikers in 2016
MoM goes to Adil Rashid for his magnificent performance with the ball! He just gave 16 runs and bagged couple of wickets within 4 overs. He was proved as the real hero for Adelaide Strikers.
Tim Ludeman(W) scored 57 runs not out in 58 balls, bagging 7 4’s at strike rate of 98.2 and Travis Head scored 25 in 19 balls with hitting 1 4’s and 2 6’s. Team scored 146 runs at loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs.
Hurricanes bowler Clive Rose gave 14 runs in 4overs at economic rate of3.50 where as Simon Milenko gave 25 runs in 4 overs bagging 3 wickets at economic rate of 6.25

#8 Sydney Thunder vs Sydney Sixers at Sydney in 2017
Sydney Thunder won by 5 wickets with 0 balls remaining, Sydney Thunder made 150 runs at loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs where as Sydney Sixers scored 149 at loss of 9 wickets.
NJ Maddinson made 31 runs out of 21 balls with 4 4’s and 2 6’s at strike rate of 147.61. SR Watson made productive play by scoring 77 runs in 46 balls swiping 6 4’s and 6 6’s and maintained a Productive Shot pull of 40 runs bagging 3 4’s 4 6’s.Player Of The Match was Shane Watson. Although Daniel got a four-wicket haul in his T20 debut but sadly o the losing side. Arjun Nair and Aiden Blizzard made 16 off in the last over to kill the heat.
#9 Sydney Thunder Vs Brisbane Heat,at Sydney, Dec 21 2014
Sydney Thunder scored 208 runs at loss of 1 wicket in 20 overs. Brisbane Heat reached only 152 runs in 17.5 over giving Syd Thunder path to win by 56 runs.
MEK Hussey scored 96 runs in 60 balls and JH Kallis scored 97 runs in 55 balls. At bowling side DL Vettori took 0 wickets gave 37 run in 4 overs. Kallis and Hussey both have played theinnings in the classical style and with modern mentality.Hussey bagged 96 runs where as Kallis was not out at 97 runs.
With record breaking score of 160 for the first wicket, the highest partnership score for any wicket for the Thunder. Andrew Flintoff gave 25 from just two overs on his BBL Debut. Altogether it was a fantastic match.

Melbourne Stars scored 176 runs at loss of 9 wickets and Sydney Thunder 181 runs at loss of 7 wickets in 19.3 overs.
